Pump

The Marzocchi forks usualy had been shipped with this orgiginal pump, LARM Art.-No. xxxxx. (0 – 12 bar).
It works fine, but it has has one disadvantage: by on- and upscrewing on the Schrader ventil valve it will loose some preasure out of the fork. That makes it difficult to adjust the air presure exactly.

To avoid you can use pumps with alternate design. As you can see the marked area shows a little lever, which opens and closes the pump. As there is not much air volume between valve and the closing mechanism, minimal air will  flow out if you open the lever. It’s disadvantage is the pump area 0 – 20 bar (maximim for the older Marzocchi’s is 3,5 – 4 bar).
